Overview

Titled Platform Settings — “Configure platform-wide and organization settings”. Four sections in a left nav.
Navigation: Settings.
Each section saves independently with Save Changes, and Cancel reverts to what’s stored.

General

Card: Regional Preferences — “How dates, times, and language render across the portal.”
The Language helper is candid: “UI language. English is the only fully-translated option today.” Selecting another language will leave much of the interface in English.
These settings affect how timestamps render, not what they mean. If your team spans timezones, agreeing on UTC here makes comparing screenshots and log excerpts far less error-prone.

Organization

Organization Profile

“Branding shown across the portal — logo, name, and a short description.” Rejections are specific: Logo must be PNG, SVG, JPEG, or WebP, Logo must be under 256 KB, and Website must start with http:// or https://.
Setting an organization logo replaces the Simnet mark in the sidebar. Since it renders at 32×32, a detailed logo becomes unreadable — a simple square mark works far better than a full lockup.

Operations

“Timezone for portal timestamps and a preferred maintenance window.” “Times are interpreted in the timezone above. Leave the times blank to disable.”
Setting only one of Start and End is rejected with Set both start and end time for the maintenance window. Either set both or leave both blank.
There are two timezone settings — one in General, one here — and the General helper says it “Mirrors the timezone in Organization settings.” Set them to the same value to avoid confusion.

Tenants & Access

“Manage tenants, projects, and user access across your organization.” This section holds no settings of its own — just two navigation cards:

Notifications

Card: Email Notifications — “Choose which events get sent to your email.” Turning the master switch off dims and disables the other three.
Job completed is the one most worth turning off on a busy account — every VM create, volume attach, and snapshot generates one. Keep Job failed and Billing on; those are the ones you actually need to see, and quota alerts arrive under Billing.

Where other settings live

Sections for security policies, third-party integrations, and advanced platform configuration exist in the codebase but are not reachable from this screen and are not wired to anything that persists. If you’ve seen them referenced elsewhere, they aren’t available.
There is no AI assistant setting in this area.

Empty and error states

Each section shows its own loading text — Loading preferences…, Loading organization settings…, Loading notification settings… — and confirms saves with Preferences saved, Organization settings saved, or Notification settings saved.

Projects

Grouping resources inside a tenant.

Limits

Quotas and upgrade requests.

Tenants

Ownership and quota boundaries.
